How to Use This Chromatic Tuner
Select your instrument preset, then click "Start Tuner" and allow your browser microphone access. Play a note and watch the needle: green center = in tune, blue/left = flat (tune up), red/right = sharp (tune down). Click a string button to focus tuning on that specific pitch.
A4 Calibration & Microphone Control
Standard tuning uses A4 = 440 Hz. Some orchestras use 442–444 Hz. Use the A4 slider to match your ensemble. The gain slider amplifies quiet signals from acoustic instruments. The microphone selector lets you choose between multiple input devices connected to your computer.
